Geographic Information System (GIS)
&
Modelling Tools
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a combination of hardware, software, and procedures to provide a user the ability to collect, store, query, and display spatial data for management and planning purposes.
GPS Landworks, Inc. offers GIS tools to track as-built improvements, infrastructure, & components. Georeferenced information can be used to develop Site Models, and implemented to build Attribute Database for each as-built improvement, infrastructure, & component.
Attribute Databases and Site Models represent the core to an efficient management of Land Development, Utilities, Municipal & Public Work Planning, and Property Management.
Construction Priorities and Scheduling
GPS Landworks, Inc. implements GIS to provide the client with a clear understanding of the site development, and construction phases, through visual exhibits and phase maps.
Scheduling is linked to geodatabases that reflect and compare the scheduled tasks versus as-built field inspections.
Progress can be monitored, issues are easily highlighted and resolved, resulting in measurable cost savings and smoother work flow.
3-D Computer Modeling
3D Modeling allows estimation of a variety of contingencies and alternatives.
3D site modeling implementation can address the followings
:
- Slope visibility (for landscaping / environmental) applications
-
Site fly-by for presentation and preview
- Visualization of complex geotechnical data such as boreholes, strata, and underground features
Web & MapServer
GPS Landworks, Inc. provides customized Web Services to allow faster and safer access to project related documents and informations.
Scheduling, Master Plans, Exhibits and Progress Reports are uploaded to the Client Gateway upon completition or request and are immediately accessible through our user-friendly interface.
